What do you do?
Sleight of Hand is an experimental, interdisciplinary theatre and arts group set up in 2014 by theatre-maker Ellie Chadwick and based in the South West. We specialise in creating multi-sensory theatrical experiences via open collaborative processes. We have created work at a variety of venues including the Albany Theatre (The Man Who), the Barbican Pit (Ergo Sum), the Tristan Bates Theatre (The Man Who), Theatre Royal Plymouth (A Silent Era), the Tate Modern Gallery (Trace of Us), and Watershed Pervasive Media Studio (various). This summer we will be leading a residency at Kaleider Studios in Exeter. The company’s work has been supported with funding from Arts Council England, Big Lottery, the Unity Theatre Trust, Warwick University’s Institute for Advanced Teaching & Learning (IATL), Pervasive Media Studio, Bristol City Council, and the Barbican Guildhall.
