Forty-year career in theatre and performance and the creative industry. University lecturer and qualified teacher with a PhD in clowning.
My expertise in stand-up comedy and clowning has inspired me to provide safe and inclusive comedy workshops and gigs to support and improve confidence and mental wellness. Clients include GPs, health professionals, teachers, creative practitioners, business owners, people with disabilities and the neurodivergent.
Projects at Budleigh Salterton, Penzance, Port Eliot and Stratford Literary Festivals; WooHoo Arts; Exmouth Pride, and charity stand-up comedy nights.
Performances: London Tate Modern and Edinburgh Festival. ACE and national lottery funded performance ‘The SeaGals’.
I am a motivational speaker who compères for Exmouth Festivals and The Exmouth Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
