What do you do?
The primary purpose of AONB designation is to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of our landscape – its landforms and geology, biodiversity, communities and rich cultural heritage.
The East Devon AONB Partnership, guided and coordinated by the AONB team, works together to achieve this and is involved in a variety of programmes covering farming, access, nature recovery and nature engagement through art. We operate a range of public engagement activities across these areas.
As a small team, our volunteering opportunities are often limited to specific projects or events, so may not always be available. If you are interested in volunteering with us please get in touch and let us know your interests and availability.
Who would you like to collaborate with?
We collaborate/work with with anyone who wants to help us deliver our purposes for the AONB. That includes for example Thelma Hulbert Gallery, EDDC Countryside/Streetscene/Economic Development, DCC RoW, landowners, farmers, businesses, parish councils, local community groups, local artists, hard to reach groups, schools, tourism providers – its potentially very wide.
