What do you do?
Echoing the original mission of the BBC, i.e., to ‘inform, educate, and entertain’, ‘Exmouth Altogether’ (EXALT) seeks to provide a physical information/social/cultural hub in the centre of town where all that the numerous social and creative Exmouth organisations, charities, churches, etc. do is collectively celebrated and presented in a lively way. It will also be a place for both serious discussion and social interaction. A dynamic, cross-pollinating, creative, approach would be encouraged. The space would include artist/creative practitioner studios whose occupants would be encouraged to assist in the presentation of the individual organisation displays. It would be a venue for smaller, more intimate, performance and cultural events rather than a venue for live entertainment on a large scale.
