This workshop is an introduction to running ads across Facebook and Instagram and how cultural organisations can use them effectively.

  • Suitable for those wanting to get started with social media ads or those with some experience looking to develop their knowledge.

Social media ads can be a great way of reaching and converting audiences. Learn the fundamentals of how to set up and run ads on Facebook and Instagram, including targeting audiences, setting objectives and creating eye-catching assets and copy. Participants will leave the session with a greater knowledge of how social media ads can support their organisation’s objectives, as well as knowledge and tips on how to create effective campaigns.

This session will:

    • Explore the specifics of using Facebook and Instagram Ads as a cultural organisation
    • Help you get started or develop your knowledge of ads
    • Walk through the platform, exploring key features
    • Explore the variety of audience targeting available on the platform
    • Explore ideas for effective ad creation and campaigns
